Vote NO on the sales tax increase!


The incumbents on City Council put a sales tax increase measure on the ballot for November 4, 2025.   They say they cannot provide adequate Emergency Medical Service without raising the sales tax  to 9.0% in Adams County and 8.75% in Jeffco.    They say they can't.... but more accurately, they won't.

 Baker for  Mayor, with Stroud and Nuanes for Council will provide great Emergency Medical Service without a tax increase.

Carmelia, DeMott, Ezeadi and Nurmela refuse to use the City's resources properly.  They have given public money to  selected apartment builders, to build a bar, to redo the front landscape of City Hall and many other foolish and wasteful projects.  If they win election, there will be 4 more years of these types of wasteful choices.  They seem to be holding EMS hostage to squeeze more taxes out of you.
